“Ali’s Film” wins Gold Medal at 26th International Visual Communications Awards.
A film that played a key role in helping to set the tone of Dubai’s bid to host EXPO 2020 has won a gold medal at the 2014 IVCA event in London. The prize-giving ceremony took place at the Grosvenor House hotel at a dinner attended by over 600 guests.
The star of the film, Ahmed Al Daheri, a schoolboy from Ras al-Khaimah, has climbed to fame in the UAE for moving performances in several other films, including the multi-gold medal winning “The Turtle”, made for EXPO 2012. Read More
